Rome Elephants Film Awards are a monthly film awards event held in Rome at RUFA university. It was founded in february 2018 by Federico Papagna and Michele Aquila.

We believe in the power of independent distribution. Producing and distributing has become harder and harder for filmmakers around the world.

We want to give you a precious way to showcase your talent to a diversified audience of jurors, filmmakers, film students and teacher in the capital city of italian cinema: Rome.

We will have monthly editions in order to give quick and easy feedback to those that submit to us. You will not have to wait months to have an answer but you will participate to a monthly edition screening that will give you the chance to win big in the annual event.

If we like your movie, you will get contacted in 24/48 hours max and know whether you are selected or not. Your work will be evaluated by a team of experts in the industry.

Private screenings happen every month at RUFA Academy in Rome, one of the best film academy in Italy.

We want to create a community for filmmakers around the world to show their talent and distributors to empower their work.

We will select movies straight away and communicate monthly winners every 25th of the month.

Your film will get privately screened and evaluated by a team of international filmmakers, jurors and film students in Rome, Italy.

All entries receive the official monthly edition laurel.
All monthly winners will receive laurels and certificates.

We will also give award to:

Every winner of the month gets the chance to participate to the annual event with bigger prizes to be announced!
